Researcher and anti-mine activist, Gaici Nah Bachir, has published the book in Spanish entitled “El muro marroquí en el Sáhara Occidental: historia, estructura y efectos” (The Moroccan Wall in Western Sahara: History, Structure and Effects”.

The book, which is the result of many years of study and research, offers a detailed and documented study of the Moroccan military wall, its history, structure and its multiple effects on the life of the Sahrawi population as well as the current situation of landmines and mine victims in the Territory.

The book is undoubtedly an important bibliographical reference that takes stock not only of the Moroccan military wall but also of the history of the Western Sahara conflict and, above all, the decisive role that this enormous military apparatus continues to play in the Moroccan occupation of the territory.
