A dramatic cluster BLU 63 accident took place last Thursday in the area called Zazayat that is situated 13km North-West Mijek in the liberated territories of Western Sahara.

According to the Sahrawi Mine Actions Coordination Office (SMACO) sources in the area, the exploded device caused the death of one Sahrawi civilian shepherd called Sid Ahmed Amhamad Sidi Musa.

Western Sahara is considered one of the most contaminated places in the world with landmines and war remnants, planted by the Moroccan occupier.
